With roots in Amsterdam’s vibrant underground scene, Prunk’s soulful, groove-centred sound draws on classic Chicago and New York house influences while pushing forward with a distinctly modern edge. Over the past decade he’s become a fixture on global lineups and a catalyst for new music and artists through his own imprint PIV.

Across his career, Prunk has graced stages at top festivals and clubs worldwide, from Awakenings Festival, Amsterdam Open Air, Kingsland Festival, to international venues like Club Space Miami and fabric London — showcasing his ability to move diverse crowds with his expressive DJ sets.

Central to Prunk’s legacy is PIV Records, which he founded in 2015. Originally “Prunk Invites,” the label quickly grew into a global house-music brand — championing artists like DJOKO, ANOTR, Toman, Sidney Charles, Chris Stussy, and many more, shaping the next generation of house artists.

In December 2025, Prunk returned with his “Ignite EP” — a four-track deep house and groove-driven release co-credited with Ryan Nicholls on PIV Records. Launched on 19 December 2025, Ignite stands out for its warm basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and dancefloor-ready energy, continuing Prunk’s commitment to authentic, soulful house music.

Beyond releases, PIV hosts a host of events — from club nights in Amsterdam venues like Claire and Shelter to PIV Festival in Amsterdam and showcases around Ibiza, Barcelona, and Miami — making it a community hub for house music lovers worldwide.

Through his music, global shows, and the continued growth of PIV, Prunk remains a key architect of contemporary house culture, blending tradition with innovation.
