Philou Louzolo
Philou Louzolo is a Dutch DJ, producer and cultural tastemaker whose forward‑thinking blend of house, tech, afro house and melodic electronic music has positioned him as a standout figure in the global dance scene.
Born with West African roots, Philou draws deep rhythmic influence from his heritage while pushing genre boundaries with futuristic and emotionally resonant productions.
Since his breakthrough in 2017, he has performed at major international venues and festivals including Tomorrowland, Awakenings, DGTL, Lowlands, Berghain, Dekmantel and more, earning respect from peers like Black Coffee, Dixon, Solomun, Honey Dijon and Damian Lazarus. In 2019 he founded his own label Wokoundou, serving as a creative platform for his work and that of like‑minded artists. His debut album African Gold was nominated for Best Album of the Year by 3voor12 and garnered attention from DJ Mag and BBC Radio 1 as an artist to watch.
In 2025 Philou delivered several standout releases, including his collaborative singles “Desejo” (with LevyM & David Herrlich) and “I Will Love You” (feat. Nes Mburu), as well as his high‑profile feature on Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s “Burn The Night (ft. Sabri)”.
