Mario Ochoa

Mario Ochoa is a Colombian DJ and electronic music producer from Medellín, widely respected for his dynamic blend of house, tech-house, and dance music.

He began producing music in the early 2000s and quickly gained international attention with his breakthrough single “Habla con la Luna,” which became a global club hit and was licensed on dozens of compilations. Over more than two decades, Ochoa has released tracks on major labels including Universal, Ultra, Toolroom, 100% Pure, and Great Stuff, and he founded his own imprint, Avenue Recordings, in 2006. His diverse catalog features numerous club favorites and charting singles, and he also hosts the long-running radio/podcast show Infected Beats, showcasing his broad musical vision. In 2025, Mario continued to expand his musical footprint with standout releases like “Me Gusta” (feat. Manuela Estrada), a vibrant, dance-ready single released via Avenue Recordings in May. Later that year, he teamed with Manuela Estrada again for “Veneno,” an Afro-influenced track that underscores his evolving production style.
