Manse
Twelve years of homing in his production skills certainly proves true the mantra that practice really does make perfect, at least that was the case with the uber-talented Manse. The Swedish DJ is a prime talent that has swiftly risen through the ranks to become a label favourite for Revealed, Armada, Protocol Recordings, and Global Records. Manse – real name Michael Hansen – has always had his eyes on the prize.
First gaining industry recognition for his unofficial, dancefloor-slaying remix of Axwell & Ingrosso’s Roar that was scouted by Hardwell to receive airplay on his globally syndicated Hardwell On Air radio show, Manse gained a debut Revealed Recordings release soon after with his Escape edit, honing international airplay on colossal stations including the UK’s prestigious BBC Radio 1. These moments signalled an inevitable rise for Manse’s career when he was personally invited by Nicky Romero to remix his Let Me Feel and soon a remix for Dash Berlin & John Dahlbäck followed – it was clear, things were only just getting started…
2015 signalled the emergence of a prime candidate for greatness in melodic progressive house, with highprofile releases including Freeze Time with vocalist Alice Berg, Rising Sun with Chris Jones, alongside releases on Armada Music – Falling Down and Last Night of Our Lives.
Exploding back onto Armada in 2016, Manse delivered a powerhouse remix of Armin van Buuren’s Freefall, which Armin had been closing his biggest sets with throughout the year. He was also asked to remix Hardwell’s Run Wild, turning it into a melodic masterpiece. Along with the exceptional club hit All Around on Armada Trice, all these added up to his wealth of stellar releases in 2016.
After making his first appearance at Tomorrowland in the Summer of 2015, Manse reinforced his growing profile with a string of excellent sets throughout Asia as part of Revealed Recording’s Revealed Presents... tour, as well as a standout set at Sunburn Festival in Goa, India. Ushering in 2016, his tour pedigree went from strength to strength, with highlight shows at the M.E.O Arena in Portugal, Creamfields, and Ushuaïa, Ibiza. The year also saw him take over the decks for Revealed’s momentous China Tour alongside Kura and Goldfish & Blink, performing at locations such as Club Grammy in Foshan, Club Space in Chengdu, Club Myst in Shanghai, Club LIV in Beijing, and Club Cubic in Macau. Adding to the stellar list was a venture through Indonesia with gigs in Jakarta and Surabaya as part of an Indonesia Tour, before capping off the year in style with a NYE performance at Desert One Music Festival in Dubai.
Taking things into 2017, Manse received the honour of being the first artist to be in charge of the one’s and two’s at the new Revealed Sunshine Club residency in Guangzhou, spanning 2 weeks of killer shows to showcase Revealed’s sound for 2017. Adding in a 10-day Vietnam tour and a performance at the biggest festival in Sweden, Summerburst in his hometown of Stockholm, Manse’s tour pedigree continued to develop at a strong pace in 2017. Also, having recently performed a huge China tour and with upcoming tours across Europe and Asia in 2018, starting with highlights across Vietnam and China in January and February, Manse continued to showcase his ability to put forward his unforgettable sound to great effect across the globe.
In 2017 Manse dropped the huge Flashback EP, giving back to his loyal fans more of his expertly crafted progressive house grooves he fast became revered for, picking up support from artists such as David Guetta and W&W. Closing 2017 with an epic remix of Andrew Rayel’s Home on Armada, and a brand-new Revealed Recordings release in January 2018, things were only set to get bigger and better for one of Sweden’s brightest talents.
Jumping forward to 2022 and 2023, he released the long-awaited collaboration (Stay With You) together with Afrojack, which was premiered at Ultra Miami, and just before the summer, he dropped a huge remix for OneRepublic & Gryffin on Interscope Records. Around the same time, he also signed a major label deal with Warner Music, expanding his global reach.
Now in 2024 and 2025, Manse continues his progressive house journey with major signings to Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings and Global Records, further solidifying his presence in the industry. His latest releases have showcased a modern evolution of his signature sound, blending emotional melodies with cutting-edge production techniques.
With over 100 million streams gathered on streaming platforms and a continuously growing global fanbase, Manse remains at the forefront of melodic progressive house, delivering fresh anthems, remixes, and unforgettable festival moments.
