Adura Suleiman
Adura Sulaiman is a Dutch-Nigerian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and fronts the dynamic musical project Future Husband.
What began as a solo vision has blossomed into a full-band collective blending synth-infused indie pop, neo-soul, and rich cinematic textures that resonate both live and on record.
In 2024, Future Husband rapidly gained momentum, playing over 45 shows across the Netherlands and beyond, including standout festival appearances and a celebrated slot at Eurosonic Noorderslag—one of Europe’s premier discovery showcases. The band also hit the road extensively through Popronde 2024, connecting with audiences in cities from Hilversum to Amsterdam and Eindhoven, further solidifying their reputation as an electrifying live act.
Musically, the group’s presence continues to grow. Their 2023 album I Love You Forever—featuring heartfelt singles such as I Love You Forever—showcases Sulaiman’s evocative songwriting alongside lush arrangements crafted with her bandmates. In late 2024, Future Husband released the compelling new single “Terra,” an ode to connection and rhythm that has quickly become a crowd favorite.
Looking ahead, 2025 marks a defining chapter: their highly anticipated debut album Confused Kids released in May of 2025, led by the single “The Party”. With expanding tours, festival bookings, and a growing fanbase, Future Husband continues to push boundaries with artistry that’s bold, vulnerable, and unforgettable.
