Back to the Anthems: Recreating the Sound of 2010–2014 at Our Anthem Writing Camp
Last week, we brought the energy, emotion and euphoria of a golden era in dance music back to life during our Anthem Writing Camp a full week dedicated to the sounds of 2010 to 2014.
Across four studios, over 30 writers collaborated on creating new anthems inspired by a time when progressive house, bigroom and emotional toplines dominated dance floors and festival main stages worldwide. Think massive hooks, hands-in-the-air drops and melodies that stay with you for years.
The camp wasn’t just a nostalgic trip down memory lane, it was a creative challenge. How do you take the essence of an iconic era and reshape it into something fresh for today’s soundscape? Our writers and producers rose to the occasion, blending classic influences with modern production techniques and songwriting approaches.
The energy throughout the week was electric. From early morning writing sessions to late-night reference bounces, every room was buzzing with creativity, collaboration and shared love for the genre. Whether people were channeling peak Swedish House Mafia, early Hardwell, or festival-era Avicii, the results were nothing short of inspiring.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, contributed their talent, and made this camp one to remember. We can’t wait to share the music that came out of it and to see these new anthems light up dance floors once again.
